A unique learning opportunity for dentists in the Australasia region.

Designed for working dentists who wish to undertake solid didactic learning in implants and obtain a PGCert (Dent Imp), PGDip (Dent Imp) or the higher MSc (Dent Imp) qualification whilst they work.

The Postgraduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry are 4 module (60 credit) or 6 module (90 credit), 1-1.5 year part-time programs , accredited by the regulated UK awarding body, EduQual.  The qualification is aligned with the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), allowing use of the postnominals PGCert or PGDip (Imp Dent). This course is suitable for beginners and experienced implant dentists. This program utilises a blend of online theory, a practical skills week and supervised clinical casework in your own region, providing postgraduate qualification opportunities with reduced disruption to your practice. If you are already an experienced implant dentist you may apply for exemption on direct supervision requirements for the Clinical Cases module, and submit independent case reports.

The Master of Science degree in Advanced Dental Implantology is a Level 7 postgraduate qualification awarded by Aston University, The Guardian's UK University of the Year and a member of the prestigious Russell Group of Universities. Teaching is collaborative with Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology. The qualification is aligned with the United Kingdom's Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), permitting use of the postnominals MSc (Dent Imp). The MSc involves a research skills module and a research project and dissertation, adding a further 90 credits to the PGDip level. Entry into the MSc is either by extension of the Postgraduate Diploma pending meeting grade requirements*, or by direct entry for suitable candidates (by interview).

*A grade of 60% or more is required in all modules of the PGDip program to allow continuation into MSc.

Designed for Australian & NZ working dentists seeking to start their implant education journey on a solid foundation. Knowledge, Skills and Mentorship.

The Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Implantology is a formally accredited postgraduate qualification from the Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology (CADI), approved by the globally recognised regulated UK awarding body, EduQual. It allows for continuation of studies toward our Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Implantology, or PGDip (Dent Imp).

The Implant Institute, based in Perth, Western Australia, is proud to be CADI's Australia delivery partner. The PGCert program delivery is designed to suit dentists from around Australia, and the clinical module has Supervisors at various localities.

Successful completion of the program and graduation from CADI allows use of the letters PGCert (Dent Imp) after your name. Alternatively you can continue your study further, towards the PGDip (Dent Imp) qualification.

This blended learning program provides training aimed at dentists who wish to undertake comprehensive didactic learning consisting of theoretical, practical and clinical components, with little, moderate or no level of previous experience in dental implantology. It is designed for newcomers to develop excellent foundation understanding and skills, and for experienced dentists to extend to deeper levels of evidence based knowledge and skill.

Led by Dr Stuart Ellis (UK) and Dr Misagh Habibi (Australia), the Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology in partnership with The Implant Institute feature a highly regarded faculty of Lecturers and Tutors with various roles in our educational offerings. The MSc (Dent Imp) award is overseen by Aston University, Birmingham UK.

What dentists are saying.

"A talented implantologist and passionate teacher, Misagh has developed a unique platform for learning dental implants at all levels.

It is exciting to have a forum for dentists to get foundation implantology education & training as a PGCert/Dip and to bring together talent from around Australia for useful CPD opportunities.

Anyone who doesn’t quite know where to start in pursuing further education in this area I would say without any reservation, start here."
