Course Summary:
In response to requests from dentists in remote areas and those who have done our foundation week course and wish to consolidate their learning, this is a 12-month support program that will empower the students to get going with implant therapy. The small group, 8 monthly online session program and total 12 months' support is designed for those who:
1: Have been overwhelmed by previous short courses or Diploma programs and wish to go through the paces of all that was discussed with more time, and to delve further into implant prosthodontics and troubleshooting.
2: Have struggled with clinical challenges, treatment planning cases or other hurdles holding them back from progressing in implants. There are students enrolled in the PG Cert and Diploma program but have not been able to get started with their cases.
3: Are new to dental implantology and would like a didactic but moderately placed, interactive training program that takes the learner from little experience through planning , placing and restoring single tooth implants.
3: Want to understand and apply themselves to the various restorative pathways in foundation type implant cases, learning to make use of stock standard abutments (analogue) whilst also getting comfortable with Ti Base (digital), customisable abutments and finally custom abutments.
4: May be in a regional area with difficulty accessing CPD in implant dentistry.
5: Want to learn with a small number of students (only 10 per group), receiving maximum attention from the lecturer.
