Seperate fact from fiction in this modality of full arch implant solution. Understand the rationale, protocol, case selection, prosthetic and surgical principles, materials and maintenance. Understand the comparative rationale for conventional full arch prosthetics (removable and fixed). Learn when to graft and not to graft. Understand conceptually the rationale of more advanced techniques such as zygoma and pterygoid implants. Learn about modern digital innovations in planning and immediate restoration. Hands-on practice in case planning, surgical placement, and restorative methods (models) of All-on-4/All On X and similar cases. Attend for full arch immediate loading surgery and restoration. Learn about conventional vs innovative modern restorative methods.

For suitably experienced practitioners, stricly limited numbers. To register your interest, email us and indicate your level of experience with implants, full arch and immediate loading, and what you wish to gain from this course and residency. Suitable candidates not gaining a spot will receive first option on the next available residency program.

Venues

Lectures Venue: Upstairs at Omni Dental Ceramics, 111 Hay St, Subiaco WA 6008.

Surgery Venue: Complete Implant & Sedation Dentistry, 116 Churchill Ave, Subiaco WA 6008.

On the opening Monday, please present to Level 1 (upstairs) at Omni Dental Ceramics, 8.15am for an 8.30am start.

 

Schedule (subject to modification)

Monday (Lunch provided at clinic):

• Introductory Lectures - Full arch principles and methods / Fixed & removable Solutions / Analogue and digital methods & developments

• Case 1 pre-op presentation & work-up for surgery

• Live Case 1: Maxillary/Mandibular Implant Surgery (partially dentate with moderate atrophy), photogrammetry record, indexation, MMR; Live observation & commentary. 

• Observe lab setup of records from surgery

Tuesday (Lunch provided at restaurant):

• Live Case 1, continued: Try-in Printed Maxillary Prosthesis

• Restorative Space, Smile Line and influence on surgical design

• How many implants and why, straight or angled?

• Video & photographic case presentation & discussions - Standard/modified All-on-4 protocol with alveolectomy versus FP1 methods.

• Case 2 pre-op, surgical and prosthetic history presentation: Maxillary & Mandibular ALL ON X immediate case

• Live Case 2: Pre-op, surgical & prosthetic history presentation: Maxillary ALL ON X

• Case 3 Pre-op, surgical & prosthetic history presentation: Maxillary ALL ON X immediate case and Mandibular (Novaloc) implant-stabilised denture

• Live Case 3: Protocol for replacement of maxillary hybrid bridge in monolithic zirconia; Indirect pickup reline of lower stabilisation abutments for finish of implant-stabilised denture.

Wednesday (Lunch provided at restaurant):

• Hands-on workshop 1: Mandibular arch surgery & analogue impression vs photogrammetry technique.

• Continue lectures & case presentations

• Hands-on workshop 2: Maxillary arch surgery, direct conversion.

Thursday (Lunch provided at restaurant):

• Continue Lectures & Hands-on Workshops (on maxilla & mandible models)

• Assessing complexity; Complications - Prevention & Management.

• Introduction to techniques for atrophic jaws (pterygoid, trans-sinus, zygomatic solutions), with case presentations & discussion

• Live Case 1 continued: Insert Maxillary/Mandibular Immediate Final Hybrid Prosthesis.

Friday (Lunch provided at restaurant):

• Free-hand vs guided decision making and protocols

• Digital planning & guided/non-guided combo workflows, FP1/FP3.

• Case Planning Discussions (Group)

• Advanced digital and guided workflows

 

Parking

All day parking for $5 is available at the car park facility on the corner of Olive and Churchill St. All day parking for $8 is also available at the car park next to Pobbles Cafe at 121a Hay St (Wilsons Parking). Officeworks is nearby with its own parking facilities, and there is street parking in the area too. All day parking will be most convenient.

Accommodation

Nearby recommended accommodation is Quest Kings Park (easy 10 minute walk) and Vibe Hotel Subiaco (easy 15 minute walk). You may also choose to stay at any venue in the Perth CBD, which is a short Uber drive away.
