Monday - Review of Implant Placement and Positioning, Flap Management, and Grafting Techniques, Instrumentation & Kits (Theory Lectures and Workshop on Models), Evening Dinner.
Tuesday - Clinical Practice (Live Surgeries), Evening Dinner.
Wednesday - Clinical Practice (Live Surgeries), Evening Dinner.

Level 1 - Foundation

1 pre-clinical day lectures & workshops
1 post-clinical day case reviews & discussion
3 clinical days of performing and assisting surgery on live patients, with each participant performing approximately 10-15 implants in total**, in a variety of indications, such as:

•⁠  ⁠small regenerations
•⁠  ⁠socket shield technique
•⁠  ⁠grafted areas
 
Level 2 - Advanced
(Course fee $17,900 AUD + GST)*
1 pre-clinical day lectures & workshops
1 post-clinical day case reviews & discussion
3 clinical days of performing and assisting surgery on live patients, with each participant performing approximately the following spread of cases**:​​
1 Full Arch Implants case
⁠2 Lateral window sinus Lifts
⁠2 Onlay Grafting (Bone Block / Khouri Technique) or GBR using barriers. 
 
*Deposit amount will be deducted from total course fee. Course fees include accommodation, course meals and evening Mon-Thu dinners experiencing Sao Paulo’s vibrant and diverse culinary scene.
**Live patient number can be variable due to last minute patient circumstances. Participants should see the value of this course in its directly supervised, high level hands-on live surgery education opportunity, not by exacting measure of the  number of implants or procedures performed.
 
This is not a "blind live" course. Patient care and safety come first, with structured education, case planning, discussion, expert supervision and critical analysis throughout. You must have a background of learning from foundation implant courses, our Certificate or Diploma programs, or similar/equivalent courses, to qualify. Please contact us if you are unsure.

THE LIVE methodically imparts on participants the skills and critical analysis to improve their standard of dental implant placements and bone augmentation surgeries from A to Z. Rather than an ambitious number of implants, our ambition is quality of learning: Good pace and tutor interaction that helps translate learnings into clinical practice. 
 
You must select either the Level 1 (Fundamental) or Level 2 (Advanced).
 
Cancellations & Fees Policy
Deposit on "The Live" Brazil Live Surgery Training program are non-refundable. Remaining course fees must be paid by the due dates mentioned, and are non-refundable if course withdrawal is within 6 weeks of live surgery training course commencement. Prior to this, withdrawal allows refund of course fees minus transaction costs. We reserve the right to cancel prior to 30 days before the course in standard conditions, and within 30 days of course commencement in unforeseen circumstances such as a pandemic or other emergency, and in such a case will refund full course fees. We recommend you make flexible flight and hotel arrangements and do not take responsibility for flight and accommodation costs.
